2008 - It all began for fun. We concocted our own recipes for sweet goodies and served them to close family and friends in our gatherings. It was a delight seeing their satisfaction and pleasure.

A few months later, we started selling to friends of friends and other acquaintances. We humbly peddled our products to some stores until people started recognizing us.

Eventually, bigger and more popular supermarkets included Hinam-is in their shelves.

Hinam-is means “dessert” in the Visayan dialect.
